A husky was rescued from drowning in Denison, Texas, thanks to the heroic efforts of a neighbor.
The man’s wife explained to ViralHog that they were cooking breakfast together when they heard “what sounded like a scream.”
After a little investigating, they discovered a husky dog trapped in their neighbor’s pool, struggling to keep its head above water. It quickly became apparent that the dog couldn’t get out of the pool alone.
The poor dog was howling for help, so they ran to the neighbor’s and rang the doorbell. Unfortunately, the neighbor wasn’t home, but they were able to talk to her through her Ring doorbell and get permission to save the pup.

The man was able to hoist the large dog out of the water from the side of the pool and bring it to safety.
It just goes to serve as a reminder to never leave dogs alone near large bodies of water! It’s never safe, even if the dogs can swim.
